I Spent $2,819 On PE Devices (Part 3) Length Training Cont.
Jan 06, 2025Compression Attachments are the best tool for length training.
However, using one for more than an hour and a half to two hours becomes uncomfortable. If you're doing PE long enough you will reach a point where you need more time under tension.
Vacuum Chambers are the perfect tool for this job.

With that out of the way let's get started.
There are basically 3 unique offerings for Vacuum Chambers:
- Generic Vacuum Bell style chambers you find all over Aliexpress, Ebay and Amazon.
- TotalMan Chambers.
- Stealth For Men Vacuum Hanger System.
While the cheap generic vacuum bell style chambers have gotten the job done for many in the past, they certainly aren't the best choice.
Which is right for you? Let's find out.
Generic Bell Style Vacuum Chambers
They come in 3 sizes typically, are normally light blue or clear, feature few different valve styles, are a basic half sphere or dome shape. Yeah, there actually is a wide variety but basically, they are all the same. Dig around on Amazon, Aliexpress, Ebay, etc… and you can find them for $10 to $30 dollars depending on what is all included.
Pro's:
- Inexpensive and get the job done.
Con's:
- Most guys glans are not shaped like a dome / half sphere. If you are like most guys then these won't be as comfortable as the competition.
- Only 3 sizes. Easy to get stuck between a size which means even more discomfort.
- Quality is WILDLY inconsistent. Maybe you get lucky and get one that is well made and lasts a lifetime. More than likely you'll get one that is defective out the box or doesn't last long (most common issue is valve leaks).
- Poor sleeve retention. Most have a lip at the edge to help retain the sleeve. The lowest quality ones this lip is pronounced and has a sharp edge, tearing your sleeves. Good quality ones the lip is well rounded and plays nice with sleeves. Either way, the sleeve retention is less than ideal.
Conclusion:
Yeah, they can get the job done. But for $10 to $20 more you can get something of known good quality that will last a lifetime and be infinitely more comfortable and reliable. Let's look at that option.
TotalMan Vacuum Chambers
All the shortcomings of generic bell style chambers resolved with a very price competitive ($21 chamber only as of this writing) solution from TotalMan.
Pro's:
- Actually shaped like the glans of a penis making it far more comfortable.
- Cheap & Easy to replace valves that last a long time (i've killed one valve in 9+ months of daily use).
- Sleeve retention feature works phenomenally, especially when you use the black bands.
- 5 total sizes with reasonable steps between sizes. Unless you're way outside normal penis size ranges you will find a size that fits comfortably.
- Consistent quality. I have 4, all are the same great quality.
Con's:
- Not the chamber, but the sleeves TotalMan sells are way too rigid in my opinion, resulting in sealing problems.
Conclusion:
This is more than likely the right vacuum chamber for you. I see no reason to buy the generic style when these exist at the this price. The only downside isn't even the chamber, but the sleeves. Easily overcome by buying sleeves separately.
Stealth For Men Vacuum Hanger System
The private jet of vacuum attachment methods. Do you need it? Probably not. Do you want it? Hell yes. The truth is most the benefit of this system is the proprietary sleeve design which is absolutely ingenious and provides tremendous comfort. That said, this setup is roughly 10x the cost of a TotalMan chamber and a couple of decent sleeves.
Pro's:
- Can use greater force for longer durations without blisters. With the TotalMan chamber I get into blister territory around 10 pounds for 60 minutes. With the Stealth For Men system I can get up to 12-13 pounds for 90 minutes before knocking on blisters door.
- Even distribution of pressure across glans. Significantly more comfortable to wear at higher forces for longer durations than the other two.
- Next level customer support. Seriously, I have not experienced customer support on this level before.
- Sizing. Practically unlimited sizes with 2mm increments means you will find THE PERFECT size for you.
Con's:
- Not compatible with the water trick. Means its more of a hassle to put on. If you use their recommended taping and wrapping method which provides the greatest blister resistance you lose any time savings and convenience vacuum chambers offer.
- Price. I wasn't joking with the private jet reference. You can only buy the full system which is 3 seperate chambers and sleeves with all the accessories. That will run you $369 as of this writing.
Conclusion:
If you chose to use vacuum chambers for high force training (which I recommend AGAINST) then the Stealth For Men system is a MUST HAVE. If you take my advice and stick to vacuum chambers for low to medium force longer duration training then you really won't get any benefit from this system over the TotalMan chambers.
Don't Forget Sleeves!
Once you have a vacuum chamber you need a sleeve to pair with it. If you choose to use vacuum chambers for high force training, good sleeves are be CRITICAL. This is part of why the Stealth For Men System is such a great option, ingenious sleeve design.
However, I recommend against using vacuum chambers for high force training. Instead opting to use them for low to mid force training. In this context the quality of the sleeves is far less important. The characteristics we are looking for are simply soft and stretchy. My experience has been inexpensive amazon sleeves fit the bill perfectly.
Vacuum Chambers are not a necessity for your first few months to year of PE.
You can get a long way with just a compression hanger and consistency. If you keep at it long enough though, you'll reach your limits with time compression hanging. When you need more time under tension and more compression hanging isn't feasible a vacuum chamber becomes a valuable addition to your tool kit.
The best bang for your buck solution is the TotalMan Chamber, and some inexpensive sleeves.
Going with the cheap generic bells will only save you a Starbucks coffee, so don't even bother.
To upgrade to the next level will cost you 10x as much. Seems silly to chose anything other than TotalMan Chamber and inexpensive sleeves.
Stay tuned for Part 4, the wrap up on length training. We will cover tools to apply force to your attachment and some helpful accessories to have in the tool kit.
Until then,
