I Spent $2,819 On PE Devices. Here's What I Learned:
Dec 27, 2024Considering adding devices to your PE regimen? What devices should you buy? How should you employ these new devices?
You've got questions. I've got answers.
Quick Refresher:
To increase the length of the penis we must stretch it beyond its current length.
To increase the girth, we must expand the penis beyond it’s current girth.
Simple, but not always easy.
In PE 101 you learn how to do this safely and effectively at no cost using only your hands (check it out here if you haven’t yet PE 101 Program).
Sooner or later you will reach a point where your hands become the limiting factor. Tiring before you reach your desired elongation or expansion.
Then what?
Then it is time to start considering devices.
The right devices, used properly, can make your PE sessions:
- Easier and Lower Effort.
- More Efficient. Get more done in less time.
- More Effective. Get better results.
However, using the wrong devices or using them incorrectly can lead to:
- Stalling.
- Regression.
- Injury.
- Permanent Damage.
Devices are not to be taken lightly.
We're going to cover the different types of devices, their purpose, and my preferences for employing them.
In the follow-on articles I will be sharing my opinion on all the devices I have tried. And giving my recommendations for what you should spend your hard-earned money on. The last article will be what devices are required for the PE 201 Program (coming soon).
Length Training
We need:
- A way to attach to the penis.
- A way to provide force to that attachment point.
Ideally the attachment is secure enough to apply 5+ pounds of force without causing harm to the penis.
First we need to attach to the penis.
Currently there are three main categories in attachment methods:
- Noose Style. Unacceptable.
- Even light force and short durations can cause permanent damage to the penis.
- Please for the love of god stay away from noose style attachments.
- Compression Style.
- Capable of more force than you’ll ever want to apply to your penis.
- If it is a clamshell style that focuses all the compressing forces on the SIDES of the penis shaft it is safe.
- Only downside is you must take frequent breaks to restore blood flow to the glans. Having a device that is quick and easy to take on and off will make this much more convenient.
- Vacuum Chambers.
- Probably the most convenient.
- When properly fitted can be worn for hours on end.
- However, there is one major drawback. As force increases the risk of developing blisters increases. Blisters can be very painful and take weeks to heal. This is the major limiting factor with vacuum chambers.
Once you have something attached to your penis, you need a way to apply force to that device.
There are three options:
- Free weights. AKA Hanging.
- As inexpensive as water bottles.
- As fancy as calibrated fractional weight plates.
- Use as little as a quarter pound.
- The sky is the limit for how high you go with force.
- High-Tension Adjustable Extenders. AKA Extending.
- Greater mobility while elongating. No weights swinging between your legs as you walk.
- More force focused on the penis shaft. Device braces on your pubic bone.
- Easy force adjustments. Turn a knob instead of fight with free weights.
- Tend to not work great at lower forces (below about 5 pounds).
- Ability to regulate force is typically limited to +/- 1 lb.
- All Day Stretchers (ADS).
- Typically a leg band or waist band with a little bungee cord to attach to your attachment point.
- Generally, the force will be limited to 5 pounds or less, and it is challenging to determine the actual force applied.
Girth Training
We are trying to force more blood into the penis to cause it to expand beyond its current size.
There are two ways to accomplish this:
- Pumping. Creating vacuum around the penis will result in the body pushing more fluid into the penis causing it to expand beyond it's current size.
- NOTE: I said fluid, not blood. While blood is one of the fluids your body will force into the penis it is not the only fluid. There will also be water and lymphatic fluid, which is not desirable.
- Blood Flow Restriction (BFR). By applying pressure around the base of the penis when we have an erection, veinous blood flow (blood moving from penis back into body) is restricted, while arterial blood flow (blood moving from the body into the penis) is not.
- When performed properly the penis fills with more blood than a normal erection, thus expanding beyond its current size.
- Blood flow restriction also results in the blood becoming oxygen deprived which triggers the release of growth factors.
- Blood flow restriction performed improperly carries significant risk.
- There is no good way of measuring how much blood flow restriction you are creating, making it even riskier.
Before we get into specific devices, there are two principles you must understand.
- You only have one penis. PE is inherently risky. But, we should minimize risk to only what is necessary to grow.
- Risk is mitigated by using well designed and built devices properly.
- Inversely, Risk increases when we use low quality, poorly designed devices, or use devices improperly.
- Generally, you get what you pay for. Quality devices will cost more but:
- Reduce risk.
- Increase comfort.
- Are reliable.
With poor quality devices you will be doomed to frustrating sessions fighting the device and missed sessions due to the device breaking. Neither will help you grow your dick.
With high quality devices your PE sessions and thus growth, will never be limited by the device.
You only have one penis. Treat it as such by not putting it at risk over saving a few bucks with a cheap device. If you can't afford quality devices you can't afford to be doing PE with devices.
Stay tuned for Part 2. We're going to dive into length training devices. I'll tell you what's worth it, and what's not.
